Selling hardware online with a template store leaves everything looking like the competition and slow on the phone. We wanted to see how far Shopify can go with a storefront of our own in front.

What we did
A headless store: Shopify behind for the catalogue and orders, and a custom storefront in front, built for searching fast and comparing.
- Predictive search and a product comparator.
- Paint calculator by square metre.
- Customer account and an installable phone app (PWA).
- Mercado Pago, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel wired in.
- Signed webhooks between Shopify and the storefront.

How it's used today
A Chelabs product. The store is live with the catalogue frozen and payments off: the cart ends in WhatsApp. It is the base for the next store that needs building.
